You can also get the expanding foam post fix, but, I wouldnt trust it really, especially where I live on the side of a valley and when the storms blow in the right direction, whistling down the valley, nowt is safe!

Cannot beat a breaky uppy mode, saves the hand cramps and chipped knuckles knocking ten bells out of a chod of conc with a hammer and chisel.

I have a massive JCB drill with a concrete breaky uppy mode which has got me out of jail free a couple of times replacing rotted fence posts that has been concreted in.

Putting my 2 deckings in.... I've dug enough post holes to last me a life time... I feel sorry for the future poor sod who may want to shift'em... Like most things I do, I tend to go over the top, and as such, I've probably got shares in postcrete! :D

Consult a qualified electrician for compliance with BS 7671 and local building Regs! Avoid areas where future digging is likely. ;)

That depends on where the cable is to run. Minimum depth in a garden in 450mm. Under pavements 600mm.

..i must have been bitten by Pfaber bug, hence me exploring various engines. Its hard to believe that system such as Wicked Engine (https://wickedengine.net/) , is free..here are few screenshots of my test/intro level i usually use for this sort of things, works like a charm, light up with few lights inside editor..very nice..

Well I'll add that one to this list of game libraries.

There's a big difference between exploring game engines, and then spamming a forum every five minutes, because a language does't do what you want. And then telling everyone that you are switching to another, for only just to then post that you are going back to the first one a day later. Which is what I was observing with that particular user.
If you've dug yourself into a hole. Just keep digging. You're bound to come out the other side eventually.

@Naughty Alien As you are going through these game engines. Is there any change of you knocking out some reviews? Just general stuff like features etc, plus pros and cons.

..just tuned up a bit ambient light so now is much more 'dramatic'.. ;D

Naughty Alien

few more additional shots..this time terrain, with lake system and weather..clouds are dynamic and they cast shadows with translucency, there is rain, wind , volumetric fog and so on, all affecting scene on its way, and easy to program, add or remove from code. This shots are taken directly from code(runtime) not editor. You can set whole level in editor , attach lua script for whatever you need(clouds, rain, lights flickering, etc), and then save everything as a wiscene file and just load that file in to C++ ide and you are good to go. In this scene, everything is in motion, grass, clouds, tree branches etc..All parts of scene that you have set, you can access through code. Highly recommended system..

That looks good. I wonder how it would run on a system as old as mine (2014 PC, Windows 7)

Im not sure whats the latest DX version on W7, but im sure it can be done, having seen latest Unreal demos working just fine on W7 machine.

Samples i shared are DX12 rendered.

Nest step is animation, so ill be messing with some characters and start integrating them in to these scenes, as im really curious how that will work out... ;D

If you ever do get around to reviewing 'em I'd be particularly interested in which offer sliding collisions out-of-the-box. Because Blitz3D had it, I imagine it is a key feature for Blitzers looking to adopt a new engine (especially if, like me, they have no interest in implementing it themselves).
