They'll be using Expanding foam to glue bricks together next  :-X

You can also get the expanding foam post fix, but, I wouldnt trust it really, especially where I live on the side of a valley and when the storms blow in the right direction, whistling down the valley, nowt is safe!

That Postcrete stuff is amazing. I never know how much water to add. May be i should read the Instructions  ;D

Cannot beat a breaky uppy mode, saves the hand cramps and chipped knuckles knocking ten bells out of a chod of conc with a hammer and chisel.

I have a massive JCB drill with a concrete breaky uppy mode which has got me out of jail free a couple of times replacing rotted fence posts that has been concreted in.

What about Roly?

Putting my 2 deckings in.... I've dug enough post holes to last me a life time... I feel sorry for the future poor sod who may want to shift'em... Like most things I do, I tend to go over the top, and as such, I've probably got shares in postcrete! :D

Round is a shape.

Consult a qualified electrician for compliance with BS 7671 and local building Regs! Avoid areas where future digging is likely. ;)

That depends on where the cable is to run. Minimum depth in a garden in 450mm. Under pavements 600mm.

Naughty Alien

Is this image or actual screenshot of 3D level? Looks fantastic..

Hardcoal

this is a map i made in quake 2
i used special methods to create effect that made quake 2 look
like it has better graphics than it had.
like glowing lava.. and so on
took me half year to make this map
when making maps was in 2D and each time you wanted to see in 3d
you had to compile for 10 mins in fast mode.

this map also had lots of mechanism that never been seen on other quake maps..
i actually invented complex things.
i had plans to make amazing quake 2 maps with EnGenius ideas back than. but sadly i missed my boat on this to impress with my originality.
but now i have a new goal that will effect everyone here

:D

your original map looks good 👍

do you know that '3d world studio', a map editor very similar to quake map editor (with csg modeling operations), was created by 'Josh K' from blitzbasic ? and it exports in b3d.

RemiD

if i remember correctly, Krischan has managed to import maps made with a quake map editor (netradiant),

here :
https://archive.blitzbasic.org/forums/community-showcase/108106.html

maybe you could do something similar to make maps for your own game, and really render them in blitmax + openb3d!

Matty

Looks good, could use some higher resolution textures.

Video problem, maybe it was my media player but: From 2:22 onwards it's just a black screen with music playing.

Hardcoal

QuoteVideo problem, maybe it was my media player but: From 2:22

ye  i need to shorten the video..
the textures are quake2 resolution.. nothing  can be done..

ive moved on..
