You can also get the expanding foam post fix, but, I wouldnt trust it really, especially where I live on the side of a valley and when the storms blow in the right direction, whistling down the valley, nowt is safe!

Cannot beat a breaky uppy mode, saves the hand cramps and chipped knuckles knocking ten bells out of a chod of conc with a hammer and chisel.

I have a massive JCB drill with a concrete breaky uppy mode which has got me out of jail free a couple of times replacing rotted fence posts that has been concreted in.

Putting my 2 deckings in.... I've dug enough post holes to last me a life time... I feel sorry for the future poor sod who may want to shift'em... Like most things I do, I tend to go over the top, and as such, I've probably got shares in postcrete! :D

Consult a qualified electrician for compliance with BS 7671 and local building Regs! Avoid areas where future digging is likely. ;)

That depends on where the cable is to run. Minimum depth in a garden in 450mm. Under pavements 600mm.

hi 🙂

some of you may remmember that i worked on a action / platform 3d game (with gameplay similar to crash bandicoot), in september 2023.

and the main character was a blitzbasic character / avatar.

this was my 3d model :

and today i have asked chatgpt (with a text description) to create such a blitzbasic character / avatar, and here is the result :

not bad, quite good i would say. 🧐

another game that i will have to finish, someday 😅

Yeah, ChatGPT is pretty good at drawing stuff if you either give it an image or a prompt to work from. Also - if you upload a bunch of images, it can draw something using them all as inspiration. Not only - but if you stay in the same thread you can keep asking it for variations on the stuff you send it.

My YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/@matthewlloyd3255) has some artworks on it that ChatGPT did from images I sent it to play around with.

That logo/avatar looks much better, but I'm sure you could get it to do it as a 3d version if you wanted.

yes i really like it, even if it sometimes makes errors or give weird answers.

what i appreciate is that i have 'somebody' to get some help / suggestions / ideas, when i am stuck or lack motivation.

because it is not easy to develop something alone...

and here is some inspiration for the environment, obstacles, enemies, 'boxes' (oysters), 'coins' (pearls),

for a blitbasic platform game, witha  'crash bandicoot' gameplay, and with a summer theme.

nice !

another game to make / finish. 🫣
