You can also get the expanding foam post fix, but, I wouldnt trust it really, especially where I live on the side of a valley and when the storms blow in the right direction, whistling down the valley, nowt is safe!

Cannot beat a breaky uppy mode, saves the hand cramps and chipped knuckles knocking ten bells out of a chod of conc with a hammer and chisel.

I have a massive JCB drill with a concrete breaky uppy mode which has got me out of jail free a couple of times replacing rotted fence posts that has been concreted in.

Putting my 2 deckings in.... I've dug enough post holes to last me a life time... I feel sorry for the future poor sod who may want to shift'em... Like most things I do, I tend to go over the top, and as such, I've probably got shares in postcrete! :D

Consult a qualified electrician for compliance with BS 7671 and local building Regs! Avoid areas where future digging is likely. ;)

That depends on where the cable is to run. Minimum depth in a garden in 450mm. Under pavements 600mm.

..Linux Zorin seems to be very good alternative in near future, for my needs anyway..im not going to W11 just because suddenly, perfectly capable computer for latest Unreal voodoo is not good enough for some 'security' issues never existed before..im really tired of their constant nagging and pushing me to buy new hardware again and again..no..not anymore..

the current threat to security on personal computers is AI which is added more and more as an 'help' to some softwares, but since it most likely works with remote servers, it uploads / downloads and analyze our datas...

i have noticed the icon of 'copilot' (AI) activated by default in notepad, on windows 11, which i was able to disactivate, but this kind of AI 'help' will happen more and more, in all kinds of softwares.

Looks quite good with paid and free versions. You can even make it look like Windows11  ::)

One big flaw i couldn't find anything about it being capable off running windows programs?
Running a Pc that just aint. Faster nough. I7-4Ghz, 32Gb Ram, 4Gb Nvidia, 2 x 1Tb SSD's, 2 x 24" LCD's

RETRO everything!

Zorin OS is wired up with Windows App Support which uses the Wine compatibility layer for Windows programs as well as integrates with PlayOnLinux to handle more complex installations, so i guess it should be fine in most cases. I havent tested it myself so i cant confirm, but it seems other folks did and it works well..
