I have always felt welcome and respected on Syntax Bomb. And i hope Syntax Boom will be the same. For every user.

Not everyone see's eye to eye on everything. So if you find someones post Boring. Or not interesting ignore it! It's for everyone!

Well, I'll put up ones for the laugh, maybe with a little daft prize, but for big'uns like we had in the past over at the old bomb, as I said, I'm not even going to go there.

The BlitzBasic "community" was great BITD. Anyone else remember the old BlitzCons? I mean, they were really just an excuse for a pissup but there were some good lads around back then; George Bray was sound, Blu Matt, Darth Pingu, RobinS, Ravey, Specis, Cicero, Mystik, James Boyd, Snarty, I even had a pint and a nice chat with Lee Bamber at one of them - he was a top lad. I've probably forgotten loads of others. People would rock up with laptops to show their WIPs on, and I'm sure the odd C64 and Amiga turned up on occasion.

They weren't over-attended. Usually 30-50 and it was a good atmos. That was all the people it needed.

You wouldn't get that happening nowadays.

I never attended a BlitzCon, I remember when they were on though...

I've been to DevCons in Newcastle with James Mintram, and yes... It all resulted in ending up minging, Ubisoft staff used to rally too, I'll never really forget the first one talking to a bloke who looked like Jesse from Storage Wars, I asked him what he did, and he did server side stuff, he started telling me about it, and, well, I never had a single clue what he was on about... Thankfully James came over, must of seen I needed help, he asked what the score was, he seemed to understand, so I went outside for a ciggie and left them too it!

Last few things I remember that night was being in Flares jumping about like a mental, and then being in the car with my exe, she was going mental because of the state I was in, and probably getting kebab all over me and her car didnt help matters either!
