You can also get the expanding foam post fix, but, I wouldnt trust it really, especially where I live on the side of a valley and when the storms blow in the right direction, whistling down the valley, nowt is safe!

Cannot beat a breaky uppy mode, saves the hand cramps and chipped knuckles knocking ten bells out of a chod of conc with a hammer and chisel.

I have a massive JCB drill with a concrete breaky uppy mode which has got me out of jail free a couple of times replacing rotted fence posts that has been concreted in.

Putting my 2 deckings in.... I've dug enough post holes to last me a life time... I feel sorry for the future poor sod who may want to shift'em... Like most things I do, I tend to go over the top, and as such, I've probably got shares in postcrete! :D

Consult a qualified electrician for compliance with BS 7671 and local building Regs! Avoid areas where future digging is likely. ;)

That depends on where the cable is to run. Minimum depth in a garden in 450mm. Under pavements 600mm.

Some images from ChatGPT using my own renders as a base

I wouldn't use AI art for a game anyway. I mean, I might use it for reference images and such but not directly in a game.

Most of the joy of releasing a game is the knowledge that people are playing something that YOU created. And if you didn't really create it then is there any point? Why are you doing it?

Matty

Are you saying you've never purchased assets in any of your games? What's the difference? I do actually create the underlying image in Blitz3d using assets I've purchased and created, then ask ChatGPT to enhance them. So it's not entirely the AI tool's work, though a lot it is.

Here's some more:

But to answer your question, why am I doing it (using AI art tools) - simply because I enjoy the pictures it creates. That's all. I like art. Fantasy art. Sci Fi Art. And it does a better job than I can at bringing my ideas to life.

I like the Sci-Fi fantasy art. I had a book full of it when i was a kid. Used to look at it for hours and imagine being in those worlds. Now you can get the art for free! Cool that.

Still we have RPG Dead Space, MAss effect, Halo just to mention a few.  :D

@Baggey - if you want to look at books of sci fi or fantasy art the Expose series is great although it's only sold in specialist bookshops and online - I have most of the first 12 or so editions. Another one is Spectrum (another art book) but this is less digital and more oil on canvas sci fi and fantasy art.

Then there's a tonne of books you can get that have your favourite games, such as those mentioned above, their concept art and other art - if you go to the right shops. They generally don't sell in your standard bookshops, you have to find some of the more unusual shops that cater especially to sci fi and fantasy content.

Ps...about trying out "meshy" .. paid for a month's subscription to do some more tests...damn thing won't download models I create in my browser. Waste of effing money, cancelled subscription immediately as as result. (models create/texture but the process hangs on pressing 'download' just sits there with the spinning wheel forever..waste of time and money)
