Her indoors has an ebike and it's a game changer.  Downside is they cost a chuffing fortune for a proper one (that doesn't burn your house down when you try to charge it).

@Gfk, oh aye, I forgot about that! @Jackdaw, you could get one of them lecky ones, obviously people call it cheating, but to be fair, if it gets you out and about, champion, and I'm sure you can turn off the electric "help" when you dont need it!

I wouldn't mind getting back on my bike, but I'd probably be dead by the time I get half way down the road. It's all bloody hills where I live. And I'm a bit out of conditions.

By the way @Dabzy . They didn't fix the issues with the site. Earlier in the day around half 11. It was back to the search again. Must have comeback on line just after 12.

Ah, so your still biking, nice one! :) I'm looking at getting back into diving, really miss it, and since I've lost a few... Less lead weights needed to get my arse to the bottom! :)

(not at first, like. Started off doing a couple of miles here and there, then ten, then most rides got to between 25-40 miles)

If you are thinking of switching to Linux. Beware!

This came up on my Youtube feed late last night.

This was definitely targeted towards Windows users thinking of switching to Linux. It was a torrent file that downloaded a Windows executable.
What surprised me more is that nobody from Canonical or the xubuntu team even noticed that the site had bee compromised for a few days. When Linux Mint got hacked about ten years ago. Clem spotted it within few hours.

If any one is thinking of switching to Linux.
Follow the installation instructions.
But generally you:
Download the iso or image file.
Check the sha checksum against the file on the site.
The use a Privacy Guard application to check that the binary is legitimate. You can find the GNU versions from here, if you are a Windows user. If you are already on Linux, this is usually already installed, or in the distributions repository.
If you've dug yourself into a hole. Just keep digging. You're bound to come out the other side eventually.
