You can also get the expanding foam post fix, but, I wouldnt trust it really, especially where I live on the side of a valley and when the storms blow in the right direction, whistling down the valley, nowt is safe!

Cannot beat a breaky uppy mode, saves the hand cramps and chipped knuckles knocking ten bells out of a chod of conc with a hammer and chisel.

I have a massive JCB drill with a concrete breaky uppy mode which has got me out of jail free a couple of times replacing rotted fence posts that has been concreted in.

Putting my 2 deckings in.... I've dug enough post holes to last me a life time... I feel sorry for the future poor sod who may want to shift'em... Like most things I do, I tend to go over the top, and as such, I've probably got shares in postcrete! :D

Consult a qualified electrician for compliance with BS 7671 and local building Regs! Avoid areas where future digging is likely. ;)

That depends on where the cable is to run. Minimum depth in a garden in 450mm. Under pavements 600mm.

This is is going to be the start of a list of useful links to various programming languages and Integrated Development Environments. If anyone adds some gems, then they will be added to this post, so people don't have to go through every post.

NOTE: Many of these sites linked here, have not been fully checked or validated for what contents they offer, and possibly in the future they may also be broken. Anyone using the links within these files should remain vigilant to protect themselves from malicious software and sites through the use of internet security software and good judgement by not falling prey to sites that require the specific entry of personal information. The accuracy of the descriptions may also not be correct, and should be in many cases considered a work-in-progress. If they don't appear to be what is advertised, or look suspicious. Then PM an administrator so they can be removed, or updated with the correct information.
So use these links and any associated software from these sites at your own risk!

All the links have been merged into a new github repository for ease of maintenance. You can find the new list here with lots more added and descriptions. Do not submit pull requests, or emails about the repository. Anything related should be posted in this forums topic.

For a list of game development tools. See here.
For a list of game art and texture libraries. See here.
For a list of music and sound effects libraries. See here.
If you've dug yourself into a hole. Just keep digging. You're bound to come out the other side eventually.
